Learn how to wheelie

To be able to pull a controlled wheelie begin by relaxing on the bike and push the handlebars away from you as if you are raising the front to get through a tight space.

If you pull up on the bars you are likely to go off course and the front will come up uncontrollably.

The next step is what gets it up... Fnnar

Apply pressure smoothly to the pedals in the middle ring on the front and about third from the top at the back. This will lift the front when combined witht the push on the bars

Now it comes down to a bit of bottle and practice

Increase the the amount of pressure on the pedals and the front will raise higher, to find the balance point its JUST before you go over the back, and its higher than you first think

To control the wheelie once you have the front up begin by dragging the brake on the biting point and apply enough pressure to slow the bike

If you find you are pedalling like a maniac then you have not got the front high enough, it should be about a walking pace for that nice long controlled wheelie to impress your mates

Watch the video and get practising
